2/22 Food
Decided to have a treat for breakfast that was 740 cals. But I am planning light lunch and dinner, so the day shouldn't be more than 1400 cals or so.

2/21 Food
Lunch: 250 Lean Cal Pocket, 100 cal Dr. Pepper, 120 cal baked cheetos, 80 cal thin mint cookies. Must eat a light dinner. Total = 550 calories
Dinner: Let's not get into the details of who ate what and who had a craving for where...let's just say it totaled 1,040 calories.
I suck.

2/21 gym
Renting a locker at the YMCA is like trying to get the nuclear codes from the President so you can win a scavenger hunt.
15 minutes on the elliptical this morning.
22 minutes on the elliptical this afternoon. Would have been twenty but I wanted to get the even two miles in.

2/20 Food
Lunch: 320 cal Lean Cuisine S&S chicken, 80 cal 2 thin mint cookies = 400 calories
I also had a few bites of bread. I'll call it 60 calories just to be safe.
Dinner: Chicken Breast = 380 calories. Potato = 160 cals. can Dr. Pepper = 150 calories. Snack Pack of Reese's = 100 calories. Total = 790 calories
Total for the day = 1250 calories.

15 minutes on elliptical trainer this morning.
15 minutes outdoors walking (slow pace).

2/20 Weight
The scale is a weird place. Somehow even though I supposedly burn nearly 3000 calories simply existing, and ate 1300 appx. calories yesterday and worked out for 20 minutes on the trainer...after all that I gained 0.6 pounds. 288.6 this morning.

Food 2/19
Lunch: 250 cal Lean Pocket, 100 cal Dr. Pepper, 90 cal baked Doritos. Total lunch = 440 calories.
Dinner: 280 cal calzone, 150 cal Dr. Pepper, 120 cal baked Cheetos, 120 cal slice cheese pizza, 90 cal slice bread w/ gorgonzola cheese. Total dinner = 760 calories
Total for the day = 1200 calories
edit: I was weak and had a 100 oz. Dr. Pepper while watching tv tonight.

Gym 2/19
Weird, the scales there are weighing me as anywhere from 2.5 to 10 pounds lighter than my home scale. Oh well, best to use the home one, keep me honest.
Today was 20 minutes of hell on the elliptical. Probably going to just do cardio for a little while until I get back in the gym routine. I am so out of shape. I thought the creature from Alien was going to burst from my stomach.

As I'm getting married on 5/31/08 it seemed a good time to begin trying to lose some weight. I started this at 305.3 Today I finally am supposed to start going to the gym along with dieting. This morning I was 286.0. Going forward I hope to keep the running log of what the scale says each morning and what I ate the day before and how I exercised.
So come along on this journey. Let's see what happens.
